Tuckahoe NY Pride

Jameson Currier was an American novelist, short story writer, journalist, and publisher known for chronicling gay life and the AIDS epidemic. He was born in Marietta, Georgia, and earned a B.A. in English from Emory University.  His fiction shifted focus as friends became early AIDS casualties, leading to acclaimed AIDS-themed story collections.  He’s authored eight novels, including Where the Rainbow Ends and The Third Buddha, plus several story collections and a memoir. In 2010, he founded Chelsea Station Editions, an independent press devoted to gay literature.  His work earned Lambda Literary nominations and a Black Quill Award.
